Surrounding yourself with positive people who are going through or have gone through a similar journey helps us succeed! Losing weight can be like riding in an elevator, up and down, up and down. The support and friendship from those who can relate to you and visa versa helps that elevator go down! It also helps to have someone who is interested in talking about exercise, food, weight loss and the trials and tribulations of weight management. To have people rooting for you when you triumph or have a bad day, that's what helps me keep on! It gives me a positive high that deserves to be shared with others.
Many people are too busy to attend a group meeting, so SEE is starting an online support/chat group for the people who could benefit from it. It begins tomorrow at 8:00 PM and continues every Thursday thereafter. Join us from the comfort of your own home. Let the dishes wait, sit down with a hot cup of tea or coffee, feet up, and join in. If you're interested check out the blogs September 6th post to find out "how to". Don't worry if you're a little late. We'll be connected until about 8:30 PM.
SEE is also starting a weekly Tuesday 11:00 am group at the Unitarian Universalist Church in Auburn, on the 18th of September. If you're interested in attending, let me know at seeandbfree@yahoo.com.
Have a great week-end everyone. I'll be back to post Tuesday for Talk Tuesdays. Lyn

I tried to get onto the group but I was late around 8:40 PM. I'm having a tough time, working hard and no time for meetings. Did you go off line early? Cindy
Oh! I'm sorry. I waited until 8:30 but no one showed. I'll try again for a couple of weeks and keep it open even if there's just the two of us, but if no one shows......Lyn
