I heard on the Channel 5 News weather report, that the weather for the holiday week-end will be "perfect". Nothing in life is "perfect", but our weather will be! "Gray skies are going to clear up, put on a happy face." "Life can be so sweet, on the sunny side of the street." Blue skies, shining at me, nothing but blue skies, do I see." A perfect start to the holidays!
Now, even if we feel stress, or a little sad, we'll work towards replacing overeating with healthy coping strategies. "Oh what a beautiful morning, oh what a beautiful day, I've got a wonderful feeling, everything's going my way."
We'll take a minute or two periodically throughout the day to stand up, stretch, breathe deeply and shake off those negative feelings. It's a lovely day for a walk, to sit outside and read a good book, or enjoy brunch at our favorite eating spot. We'll take time for ourselves ,or maybe we'll see the people who we really want to see. Those whom we have healthy relationships with. Positive people who bring joy to our lives!

Happy labor day to you tooLyn. I'm moving to Auburn the latter part of October. Where and when will the SEE group be meeting. I'd love to join us with you if I can.
